Director and Writer
Nicola Hanekom is an award winning director, writer and actress. Her cutting edge theatre productions including Betésda, Lot, Babbel, Trippie, Land van Skedels and In Glas have garnered a total of 30 awards. Nicola recently won the Eugene Marais prize for her collection of plays Die pad byster. She has written and directed two short films, Unspoken, and the award winning Trippie (based on her stage play). Cut-Out Girls is her first feature film.
